I'm Gay, so what?

I love the fact my employer has wireless. I'm stuck in meetings almost all day today and i'm totally burned out. So I'm tuning out while our consultants run the show for a while, and i'm blogging! Ain't that something? I'm not sure what it is but there is something about blogging that is therapuetic.

I'm getting pretty depressed about all the news lately. I almost don't even want to listen! Rumors of war, North Korea can hit us with a long range missile, the shuttle disaster (again), Europeans and most of the world hate Americans, the economy, the stock market, what the shit is going on? The local news is worse -- murders, shootings, car chases, gangs. No wonder I would rather just watch a movie or play a video game.

I had dinner with my Mom last night. She seems to be okay with being alone since Dad died last December. She stays busy with friends and family, so I think she's pretty cool with being alone.

For all you folks who get to this site because you searched for "Gay Puerta Vallarta" -- good news, I'm going to add a link or two (once I figure that out) to help you find what you want. I get a LOT of hits for that information.

Hasta

Yes, I'm still alive. I've been so fricking busy with everything going on, I haven't had time to do my blogging duties. Hey thanks for the references to me and my site to this Aussie: http://moderick.crimsonblog.com/ Yeah, Yeah, I know I should link it, but give me some slack okay? I still haven't taken the time to learn how to add a link, although one nice guy sent me instructions, I just HAVE BEEN TOO DAMN BUSY OKAY???

Wow, where's all that anger coming from?

A word about Ernesto (yes, I know, a LINK damn it! a LINK!) I promise I'll post his naked picture when i figure out how. Suffice it to say he is sooooo handsome. I learned recently he had an offer to act in the next movie by the producer of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He had at first turned it down because there will be LOT's of nudity, but now he wants to do it. So anyway, what's the status of our little relationship, you ask? I'm not sure exactly. He is here in LA for a few months, and he's been staying with friends in my building in Santa Monica. He visits frequently and we have little JO and massage parties. We took things a little further this weekend and I actually invited him to have lunch with me (I called it a belated valentines wish) and then to a barbecue yesterday with my friend S. and R. He had a lot of fun and loved my friends. So where does it go from here? I like him because he's cute, uncomplicated, and has a "exotic" look and personality. He's definitely eye-candy. But as for romance, I don't feel it. I'm not sure why. I like him as a friend, and I hope we continue to develop that.

Im near the end of week two on the www.power90.com (don't say it) workout program and I like it. My buddy (okay we met on the beach and talked twice on the phone) Tony Horton is soooo gorgious. He has abs to die for, and looks about 20 years younger than he probably is (i'm guessing in his 40's). Here's to hoping you're gay Tony!!!! Before beginning the program I had already lost 5 lbs on my own, and since starting this program, I've lost another 2. I want to get down to 175 lbs (I'm at 183 now), but I don't necessarily care about the weight so much as the look. I want lean, hard, and a six pack.

Work has been incredibly busy, productive and exciting. That's the main reason I'm behind on my blogs. I don't generally log on at home (because I'm a lush and all I do is watch t.v., play video games and drink wine). Actually when I'm on the computer all day at work, I don't really want to get on again when I go home. Besides the connection is so fast at work, I'd only get frustrated at home. I digress. As for work, well you could say i'm almost famous. So much so, that I'm getting a bit nervous about this blog. If someone finds it from work, I'm basically toast. My work is so highly visible and public and across hundreds of people, and spanning several corporations across America, that I'm worried. But excited. My work has not been this invigorating in many years.

I'm in escrow and moving in a few short weeks to WEHO! Oh my GAWD!!!!

Well, I put in an offer yesterday and it was accepted! This boy's going to Hollywood! (West that is). I'm gonna become just like all those other WEHO SLUTS who live there, yessirey! Seriously, I hope I don't. I'm not really the WEHO type. And for those of you who've been there, you know what I mean. But I do think it will be good for me to live there. I'll have a much better chance of meeting other gay men, either for dating or for friendship, than living anywhere else. And it's a good financial decision. My monthly housing payments will actually go down, while I'm building up equity at the same time. I'll be moving in March!

Ernesto and I "got together" for a little frolicking. This time I was smart and I got his picture so I can prove to my friends that he actually IS gorgious and looks like a GOD.

Thanks Angry for the tip on how to add links and pics. I'll try that soon, promise, but for now I'm out the door to have a drink with my friend S. to watch the sun set over the Pacific.....

hasta la vista baby

I've decided to buy in West Hollywood. There are lots of reasonably priced condos/townhomes to buy there, within walking distance of the gay strip and even the Sunset Strip. And it's not that much further to work. So I'm looking one more time tonight with my agent and will put an offer in on one of two places, both in the same building which are nicely upgraded, and have city views! I'm excited. Not only will my overall housing payments decrease, my social life might have a chance of increasing!

The workout goes well. I'm really into making sure I get into serious shape. For those of you interested, I'm using a program designed by Tony Horton (hunk of a guy) and you can get to his program at http://www.power90.com (sorry don't know how to link yet). Tell him I sent ya! I'm on day three of 90 days...... Wish me luck. I took the "before" picture, and will take pics at 30, 60 aned 90 days. (BTW, I decided Tony's video program is cool and fired the trainer. Saves money, but I'm equally as motivated).

My buddy Ernesto, who you may recall I met the weekend before I left for vacation to Puerta Vallarta, is back in town. He is such a cutie, and I'm looking forward to hooking up with him again.....

Formerly "A Day in the life of a Gay Guy", I've changed the name to reflect more of how I'm thinking. Being Gay is not the focal point of my life. I'm a guy with interests like everyone else, I just happen to be Gay.
